Bill has been in the financial services, mortgage, and fintech industries since 2000. Although this wasn’t his first profession (he spent his early career in the Air Force and other Intelligence Agencies doing counterintelligence operations), but he got hooked on the excitement of watching people get their personal finances in order and the freeing experience it affords them. He’s always available to write, speak, podcast, or video a segment on any financial topic that helps people control their finances instead of their finances controlling them. Tim Lucas spent 11 years in the mortgage industry as a loan officer and processor, working with hundreds of mortgage consumers to find their perfect mortgage. He’s been a homeowner since the age of 26 and is also an active real estate investor, with two single-family rentals in Oregon. He now leverages that vast, real-world knowledge to give consumers reliable, actionable advice.
